Conflict Dynamics Profile® Team
What This Pathway Helps Your Team Explore.
The Conflict Dynamics Profile® Team pathway provides a structured opportunity to better understand how team members experience and respond to conflict, where those responses are similar or different, and what they might mean for the team when brought together.
Together, you'll explore questions such as:
- What constructive strengths already exist within our team?
- Which responses to conflict come most naturally to us?
- Where do our different responses complement one another?
- Which behaviours in others are more likely to frustrate members of our team?
- What stands out as we bring our individual perspectives together?
- How might a greater shared understanding influence our conversations and working relationships?
People can leave with a richer understanding of themselves, a greater appreciation of the strengths within the team, and new insight into the responses and behaviours that may influence their conversations and working relationships.
Whatever emerges, the goal is to better understand one another, consider what feels most meaningful, and decide where the team would like to focus its attention moving forward.
Beginning with Individual Understanding.
Every team is made up of individuals bringing their own experiences, strengths, and ways of responding when conflict arises.
Before coming together as a team, each participant completes the Conflict Dynamics Profile® Individual assessment and meets with me for a one-to-one debrief. This creates space to better understand their own responses, ask questions, and reflect on what feels most meaningful before coming together to explore the team's collective information and what it might mean for the team.
Turning Information Into Shared Understanding.
The individual assessments are brought together in the Conflict Dynamics Profile® Group Report, offering an overview of the team's collective responses to conflict.
The Group Report provides valuable information, but it doesn't capture the whole story. The team's experiences, context, and conversations bring that information to life.
During the facilitated team debrief, we'll explore the information alongside the team's experiences, deepen understanding through thoughtful conversation, and identify what stands out.
These conversations create an opportunity for the team to better understand what the collective information might mean and appreciate the strengths that already exist. From that shared foundation, the team can decide the next meaningful step they're ready to take together.
What Your Team Experience Looks Like.
Every team is different, so we'll begin with a Discovery Session to learn more about the team, what prompted the interest in this pathway, and whether it's the right fit.
If we decide this pathway is the right fit, the team's experience includes:
- A Conflict Dynamics Profile® Individual assessment for each participant.
- A confidential one-to-one debrief with each participant.
- A Conflict Dynamics Profile® Group Report that brings the collective information together.
- A facilitated team debrief to explore the collective information, deepen understanding, and identify a meaningful next step.
Is This Pathway Right for Your Team?
This pathway may be a good fit if your team is interested in better understanding how conflict is experienced and responded to within the team.
Some teams are newly formed, well-established, or navigating change that's influencing how they work together. Whatever the situation, they want to strengthen communication, build on existing strengths, and create a shared understanding of how conflict influences their conversations and relationships.
Whatever prompted the interest, this pathway provides a structured opportunity to explore the team's collective information together, reflect on what it might mean, and identify a meaningful next step.
Explore a Sample Group Report.
The Conflict Dynamics Profile® Group Report brings together the team's collective information to support meaningful team conversations while maintaining the confidentiality of each participant's individual assessment results.
Exploring a sample report is a simple way to better understand what the Group Report includes before deciding whether this pathway is the right fit for your team.

Discovery Session
Every team is unique, and there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to supporting communication and conflict.
A Discovery Session provides an opportunity to learn more about your team, what prompted your interest in this pathway, and what you're hoping to accomplish. Together, we'll explore whether the Conflict Dynamics Profile® Team pathway is the right fit or whether a different approach would better support your team.
If this pathway feels like the right place to begin, I'd be pleased to explore it with you.
